Questions

What does speaker analysis do?

It finds the intervals in which each person speaks. The extension uses those timestamps to apply your chosen playback speeds. Overlapping voices share the video’s single playback rate.

What does it cost?

The library is free with any account. New analysis: 10 hours free once, after you verify your email; then $5 a month for 30 hours.

Can I request a recording for free?

You can mark a recording for the community queue. Once enough different users mark it, it can be processed without deducting those users’ hours. Queue time depends on demand and processing capacity.

Where are my speaker preferences saved?

In your browser’s extension storage. Personal names, colors, and speeds override the shared analysis and can be reset locally.
